Fall Market Retrospective
The third annual Beatrice Fall Farmers Market took place on Small Business Saturday at Vintage Venue. There was a nice selection of local produce, processed foods, and baked goods for sale, along with handmade crafts.
We had the last of our late apples and a selection of all-natural local beeswax ornaments and candles for sale. The ornaments are a tradition that my grandmother brought to Nebraska from her upbringing in Germany. Big thanks to my aunt Renee for helping out!
Colleen Catering’s brunch was incredible, as usual! The baked pancakes and muffins featured Giving Tree Farm apples. My personal brunch favorite is the hot chocolate bar- hot chocolate, whipped cream, marshmallows, caramel and fudge sauce. Delicious!
