Till the cows come home
We are extremely fortunate to partner with the Rorhbaugh family of Pawnee Pride Meats to graze grass-fed/finished beef. A herd of their cows spend the summer months grazing here at Giving Tree. Grazing provides the healthiest, highest quality meat and is also good for our prairie pastures that evolved with bison grazing. We work with Paul and Chris Rorhbaugh to rotate the cattle and prevent overgrazing.
The Rorhbaughs also pasture chicken and pork, and partner with other farms to provide the local market with unique options like lamb and bison.
